TIRUPATI BALAJI

It is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu, who is worshipped as the supreme lord in the Kali Yuga. The temple is located on the Venkatachala hill of the Tirumala range, near the town of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. The temple attracts millions of pilgrims every year, making it the most-visited place of worship in the world. It is also the richest temple in the world, receiving huge amounts of donations and offerings from devotees. The temple complex has several other shrines, halls, ponds and facilities for the pilgrims. The temple offers various services and schemes for the welfare of the devotees, such as annaprasadam, kalyana katta, medical aid, education and more. The temple also conducts various rituals and festivals throughout the year, such as kalyanotsavam, brahmotsavam, vasanthotsavam and sahasra deepalankarana seva. The temple has a rich history and legend associated with it, which is described in various Hindu scriptures and puranas. The temple is believed to be the earthly abode of Lord Venkateswara, who manifested here to save mankind from the troubles of Kali Yuga.

BADRINATH DHAM

Badrinath Dham is one of the four sacred pilgrimage sites in India, known as the Char Dham. It is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, on the banks of the Alaknanda river. Badrinath Dham is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped here as Badrinarayan. The temple was established by Adi Shankara in the 8th century CE, and has been renovated several times over the centuries. The temple is surrounded by majestic mountains, glaciers, and holy springs. The most prominent among them is the Tapt Kund, a hot water spring that is believed to have medicinal properties. Pilgrims take a dip in the Tapt Kund before entering the temple. The temple complex also houses other shrines, such as those of Lakshmi, Narada, Uddhava, and Garuda. Badrinath Dham is open for six months every year, from April to November. During the winter, the idol of Badrinarayan is shifted to Joshimath, where it is worshipped till the next season. Badrinath Dham attracts millions of devotees every year, who seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu and experience the divine aura of this sacred place.
